I'm Rachel, and I'm passionate about teaching people new things.

I cut my teeth and started my career as an instructional designer, which led to becoming a learning strategist and learning leader. I found my ‘thing’ thanks to my ability to understand business goals, process, products, and services, and then crafted learning experiences that were lean and mean, and optimized learner retention. More here, on my soapbox.

As a human capital and performance leader, I take what I’ve learned as a workforce development expert, and I develop talent programs and people enablement strategies to enhance organizational culture and effectiveness. There’s nothing I believe in more than a proactive approach to HR: if you think you’ve got a “training problem,” it’s probably too late (but doesn’t mean it can’t fixed).

As a person, I’m a proud “elder” millennial and former student-athlete. I’m not afraid of hard work. I’m agile, a ‘jack-of-all trades’, a believer in teamwork (cheesy but undeniable), and a constant seeker of balance.

Experience includes:

  • Manager, Collision Learning & Development (Head of North America), Tesla

  • Senior Director, People & Performance, On The Road Companies

  • Owner and manager, Nerdluck, LLC

Other companies I’ve worked for or with include Google, TED, Apple, Service King Collision, Mindspace Agency, and Ally Financial.
